JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, a joint compromise memo dated 25.04.2017 duly signed by the petitioner and the second respondent, have been filed, in which it is stated that both the parties have resolved their problems and decided to bury their hatchet and that they are maintaining cordial relationship. It is further stated that the de facto complainant is not willing to proceed with the complaint any further.
2. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise memo as true and genuine.
3. The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise memo, the proceedings in S.C.No.51 of 2017 pending on the file of the Principal and District Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu, against the petitioner, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo.
