ORDER: (per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta)
We are of the view that at this stage, the Court cannot do anything else. It is for executive if not legislative government to take action. It would be open for the petitioner to approach respective Government as a suggestion which has been set out in this Public Interest Litigation.
At present, we close the Public Interest Litigation without passing any order but giving liberty to the petitioner as above. No order as to costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
