JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mohanan, J.
The petitioner herein had filed Ext.P1 petition under section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 r/w section 7 of the Family court Act for divorce against the respondent and his grievance is that though Ext.P1 was filed as early as on 31.12.2010, the matter is being protracted and therefore it is prayed to issue a direction, directing the Family court to dispose of Exts.P1 and P2 petitions within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both the petitioner and the respondent.
3. When the above case came up for consideration, this Court by order dated 15.10.2014, directed the Registry to call for a report from the Family court, Ernakulam, with regard to the early disposal of O.P. No. 2363/10. Accordingly, the learned Judge of the Family court, O.P.(FC) No.504 of 2014 2 Ernakulam, by his letter bearing number D.No.3398/14 dated 20.10.2014 informed that the above cases now stand posted for the Commission Report on 13.1.2015 and further submitted that he had already given direction to the Advocate Commissioner to expedite recording of evidence as per order dated 30.9.2014. It is also informed that he can dispose the matters within 4 months.
4. In the light of the submission of the learned Judge of the Family court, Ernakulam, we are inclined to dispose this matter and accordingly the Family court, Ernakulam, is directed to take up Exts.P1 and P2 and dispose the same on merit within 4 months commencing from 13.1.2015.
The OP(FC) is disposed of accordingly.
