JUDGMENT / ORDER

Originally the accused in C.C.No.401/2006 was convicted by the trial court. In appeal, the conviction and sentence were set aside and the case was remanded to the trial court. Now the parties have settled the matter. The de facto complainant - Addl.2nd respondent is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the de facto complainant/Addl.2nd respondent stating that the entire matter has been settled and that she does not intend to proceed further in the matter.
Hence, in the light of the settlement so arrived at between the parties, this Crl.R.P. is allowed. Further proceedings against this petitioner in C.C.No.401/2006 of JFCM-II, Aluva is quashed.
