Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking this Court to command the respondent authorities to decide the petitioner's application dated 15.07.2021 within stipulated period and consider the candidature of the petitioner for recruitment as a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police Force in pursuance of advertisement bearing no.PRPB-Ek-1(138)/2018-II.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that in case the aforesaid representation is still pending, the same would be decided at the earliest.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending for consideration.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of asking the Competent Authority to decide the aforesaid application/representation expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of copy of this order but certainly after providing ample opportunity of hearing to all the stake holders in the matter.
The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the applicants alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.
The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing.
