The objections filed by learned counsel for the applicant are taken on record.
Under order dated 5.8.2005 passed in writ petition no. 27470 of 1995, the respondents were obliged to consider the case of the petitioner who was working as Seasonal Collection Amin for regularisation of his service as Collection Amin as and when vacancy arises.
An affidavit of compliance has been filed alongwith which the decision taken by the Committee on 29.12.2014 has been brought on record, according to which the applicant who was at sl. no.85 in the seniority list of Seasonal Collection Amin in the district, was not recommended for absorption/promotion while certain other Collection Amins, who were above him, had been recommended.
Since a decision has already been taken considering the claim of the applicant, therefore, no good ground is made out to proceed any further in the instant contempt application but it is left open to the applicant to challenge the decision of the Committee, if he feels aggrieved thereby.
The contempt application stands disposed of with the above observation.
