Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State through video conferencing.
The relief prayed for in the present writ petition relates to some contract which according to the petitioner has partly been performed.
The agreement in pursuance to which the work is stated to have been undertaken by the petitioner is not placed on record.
The writ petition in the matter of contract is not maintainable unless the case setup by the petitioner in its entirety or in part is admitted by the respondent.
We permit the petitioner to ventilate his grievance before the competent authority, who on the satisfactory performance on the part of the petitioner may take an appropriate decision.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
