Shri O.P. Singh, learned counsel for petitioner submits that he does not want to press the prayers made in the writ petition and prayed that the application for renewal of firearm license dated 3.10.2020, which is pending before Licensing Authority, be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel has no objection for the aforesaid prayer.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority to decide petitioner's aforesaid application for renewal of firearm license and pass appropriate reasoned order after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months from today, provided there is no legal impediment.
