JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner seeks for consideration of a temporary permit application in a defaulted vacancy. In fact, the learned Government Pleader submits that the renewal of the regular permit application is pending. In such circumstance, the regular permit holder definitely will have a preferential claim. However, if no such preferential claim has been made, the petitioner's application shall be considered and the temporary permit granted and issued if there is no other legal impediment, for four months, within a period of two weeks from today. It is made clear that issuance would be subject to any preferential claim. The writ petition is disposed of.
