Heard party-in-person Seemaben P Mena-wife of the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
With regard to the grievance of the applicant about tumor below the tongue for which proper treatment is not carried out, learned APP has placed on record the report/certificate of Medical Officer, Central Jail Dispensary, Ahmedabad referring the applicant to E & T Department. As above, the applicant had not taken any treatment.
Be that as it may. The respondent authority is directed to refer the applicant-convict for proper diagnosis of the ailment and if necessary biopsy of the tumor of the tongue so complained be carried out forthwith and report be placed before this Court on or before 11.6.2012. S.O. to 11.6.2012. Copy of this order be given to learned APP.
