Heard Sri P. N. Rai, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent.
Notice need not to be issued to the respondent nos. 2 and 3, at this stage.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that proceedings under Section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code is pending consideration before the respondent no. 1. A prayer has been made by learned counsel for the petitioner for early disposal of the aforesaid proceedings.
Learned Standing Counsel has not opposed the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner for early disposal of the aforesaid proceedings.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, as such, respondent no. 1/Tehsildar, Lalganj, District Azamgarh, is directed to conclude the proceedings under Section 34/35 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 being Mutation Case No. 00076/2021, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of next four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court, after hearing all the parties concerned.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
