JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner approached this Court, aggrieved by an attempt to change the present alignment for widening the Thrissur-Kuttipuram State Highway at 19.65 KMs stretch. The petitioner submits that the work in respect of a length of 18 Kms is completed and the remaining work is about 1.635 Kms is passing through Anjoor Village. The petitioner submits that an attempt is being made to change the alignment. The petitioner also pointed out that this is maximum road area and any change in alignment would result serious loss to the passers through the highway and also to the petitioner. The petitioner has set out his grievance in Ext.P4.
W.P.(C) No.34328 of 2014 2 In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider Ext.P4 within a period of six weeks after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. It is made clear that the petitioner shall not be dispossessed from any of the property in his occupation or possession without recourse to the procedure established under law.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
