This petition has been filed by the landlord praying for a direction to the Additional District Judge / Special Judge (S.C / S.T.) Act, Kanpur Nagar to decide Rent Revision No. 06 of 2012 (Prabhakar Bhargava Vs. Bharat Gupta & others) within a specified time period as fixed by this Court.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner being landlord had filed a Rent Case No. 36 of 2010 which was rejected on 8.11.2011. Thereafter, he filed Rent Revision No. 6 of 2011 which has been pending before the learned Additional District Judge since 22.11.2011. The petitioner is an old person and according to the order sheet which has been filed by him, it is apparent that no progress on merits of the case have been made till date, despite the matter being listed sometimes twice a month before the learned Additional District Judge.
Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Additional District Judge to decide the Rent Revision No. 6 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible say within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
