The applicant - a life convict has filed this application for temporary bail through his son on the ground of marriage of his son which is scheduled on 14.06.2012 at Village Mandaviya, Taluka Rapar, District Kutch and jail remarks of the applicant convict are reasonably good. Besides, in the past, whenever the applicant was granted temporary bail or furlough, he had almost reported to the jail authority in time.
Considering overall facts and circumstances and since the applicant convict has remained in jail for 10 years and 11 months approximately and has a reasonably good jail record, the applicant is hereby granted temporary bail for a period of three (3) weeks, from the date of his release, namely June 5, 2012, on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.5,000/= (Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the satisfaction of the jail authority and shall report in time on completion of the above period. During the above period of temporary bail, the applicant shall mark his presence once in a week before the nearest Police Station.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is allowed. Rule made absolute to the aforesaid extent. Direct Service is permitted.
