ORDER Heard Shri Shivaprasad Shantanagoudar, learned advocate for the petitioner and Shri Ramesh Jois, learned AGA for the respondents.
2. Petitioner’s wife was working as Junior Health Assistant in the Health Department. She died on 05.04.2018. Petitioner filed an application seeking his appointment on compassionate grounds. The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services has rejected the said application by order dated 19.07.2019(Annexure-G). Hence, this petition.
3. Admittedly, petitioner sought appointment under the State Government. The impugned order is passed by the Director of Health and Family Welfare Services. Therefore, grievance of petitioner can be entertained by the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal. Hence, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of as not maintainable.
