While entertaining the writ petition following orders were passed on 2.12.2020:-
"The argument advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner is that in spite of the order passed by competent Authority in the matter of revised pension, the petitioners have been denied benefit thereof unnecessarily for a quite long time. In this connection order has been brought on record.
Learned standing counsel is, therefore, directed to obtain instructions in the matter. Put up this matter as fresh on 6.1.2021."
Sri Saurabh Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nagar Panchayat has placed before the Court instructions obtained from the authority concerned. As per the instructions, the Nagar Panchayat is intending to release revised pension within a period of three months on account of financial exigencies.
Such contention is not opposed by petitioner's counsel.
In view of the above stand taken by the respondent Nagar Panchayat, this writ petition stands disposed of with the direction upon the Nagar Panchayat concerned to ensure that entire amount towards revised pension is credited to the account of the petitioner, within a period of three months from today.
