Heard Sri Manoj Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material placed on record.
Instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant for quashing the proceedings of Criminal Case No.1015/IX of 2012 (State Vs. Joga and another), in Case Crime No.201 of 2012, under Section 3/7 E.C. Act, P.S. Chhata District Mathura, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Chhata District Mathura.
The applicants have not given any reasonable explanation for approaching this Court at such a belated stage.
Accordingly, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. suffers from laches and is dismissed.
