[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 28.04.2017 in No.36/BCDFGISSSV/2017, detaining her husband as "Sexual Offender?, as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of dangerous activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum-grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982).
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2926 Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 20.06.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
