Following orders were passed in the matter on 28.08.2018:-
"Petitioner claims that she, although, has scored marks above the cut off but could not receive information about her appearing in medical examination. It is alleged that petitioner, in the meantime, got herself married and she could come to know about her selection late, and has also represented before the authorities to permit her to appear in the medical examination but no decision has yet been taken.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Put up in the additional cause list on 7.9.2018"
Learned standing counsel has obtained instructions, according to which petitioner was directed to appear on 23.06.2018 for her medical examination at Mau, but she had not appeared. As per the instructions, petitioner's father was issued with the letter, but as per him, since petitioner was not living at her place for the last 6-7 months, as such, she could not be informed about it.
It appears that because the petitioner had married, out of her own volition against the wishes of the father, and was not having whereabouts of petitioner and as such, she could not be intimated of the date for her appearance for medical examination.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, it would be appropriate to dispose of this petition by observing that in case the Board proceeds to undertake any fresh exercise for holding medical examination, then the petitioner shall also be permitted to take part in it and her candidature would also be examined, accordingly.
Petitioner, along with certified copy of this order, shall intimate her present address to respondent nos. 2 and 4 within a week from today.
