Petitioner's husband was employed in Gas Authority of India and has died in harness on 28.06.2019. Grievance of the petitioner is that she has minor daughter and one son, who are in distress and need adequate financial help, which can only be provided if compassionate appointment is offered to her. A scheme dated 31.05.2021 has also been relied upon.
Sri Purnendu Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 states that petitioner's claim shall be examined in accordance with law.
Learned A.S.G.I. has appeared for respondent no.2.
In the facts of the present case, petitioner is permitted to raise her grievance relating to grant of compassionate appointment before respondent no.2, annexing all materials in support of her claim, together with a copy of this order within three weeks from today. The second respondent shall examine petitioner's grievance and an appropriate order would be passed in accordance with the applicable scheme, within a further period of three months, thereafter.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
