THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, CHIEF JUSTICE MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER None appears for the petitioner.
2. The petitioner claims that he is a resident of a Mutt and working as Lokakalyana, religion and social worker. The grievance made in the writ petition which is in the nature of a public interest litigation is that a name board in Urdu language has been fixed on the newly constructed Mahanagara Palike building. Therefore, the petitioner made several representations to the various authorities and also prayed for registration of FIR.
3. We do not see how a public interest is involved in this writ petition. The only grievance of the petitioner is that a name board in Urdu language has been fixed. We, therefore, decline to entertain this petition and accordingly, the same is rejected.
However, it will be always open for the respondents to look into the grievance made by the petitioner in the representation at Annexure-A and to take action, if required, in accordance with law.
