Sri Pavan Kumar Srivastava, learned Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners.
The present writ petition has been filed with the following relief:-
"i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the result declared by the District Election Officer, District Mau in respect of the post of Zila Panchayat Member, Ward No. 31 Sarsena, Tehsil Mohammdabad Gohana, District Mau.
ii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 recount the valid votes and declare teh result related to teh post of Zila Panchayat Member, Ward No. 31 Sarsena, Tehsil Mohammdabad Gohana, District Mau."
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has filed election petition, which is pending before the Tribunal concerned. He prays for and is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition.
The same is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
