Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Shambhavi Tiwari, learned counsel for the respondent-University.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 to declare the result of the petitioner of B.Sc. IIIrd year bearing Roll No. 166040041044 of the year 2017-18, within stipulated time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that result of other candidates, who appeared alongwith the petitioner in B.Sc. IIIrd year examination had been declared long ago, but the petitioner's result has not been declared without any rhyme or reason. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in this regard, a representation has been filed by the petitioner to the respondent no.3 on 26.8.2019 and subsequently, a reminder was sent on 15.9.2019 but neither the result has been declared nor the representation has been decided.
No useful purpose would be served by calling for the counter affidavit or keeping the writ petition pending.
Since, the petitioner has already represented the matter before the concerned authority, therefore, a direction issued to respondent no.3-Controller of Examination, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra to take final decision on the petitioner's representation dated 26.8.2019 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
