JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.362 of 2017 in Crl.A.No.8 of 2017 dated 01.02.2017 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge of Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was granted bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge of Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu, in Crl.M.P.No.362 of 2017 in Crl.A.No.8 of 2017 by order dated 01.02.2017 on certain conditions. One of the conditions is that he shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- before the trial court towards compensation amount with one month. Since the petitioner is not able to deposit the amount of Rs.1,00,000/-, he is not in a position to avail the benefit of the said order. Hence, seeking modification of the said order, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.
4. The issue is related to cheque dishonour and the petitioner was convicted with direction to deposit Rs.6 lakhs. While passing order to suspend the sentence, the learned Sessions Judge directed to deposit only a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- within one month. The said order is reasonable and does not call for any interference, and this Court is not inclined to modify the said condition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
