JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner Deemed University Off Campus situated at Vallam, Thanjavur and Paganur Village, Trichy in the counseling for admission of students for B.Arch., course under the Tamilnadu Architecture Admission Counseling from the year 2017 by assigning the code No.TN85 and TN87 upon considering the petitioner representation, dated 05.05.2017.
3.Heard Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Alaga Thevan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.
4.Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a Deemed University and it is running two institutions and one at Trichy and another at Vallam. The petitioner after obtaining affiliation from the Council of Architecture, approached the respondents to include the B.Arch., School of Architecture in the forthcoming B.Arch., counseling conducted by the third respondent. The petitioner also submitted a representation, dated 05.05.2017 with the same prayer since has not been considered and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
5.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 05.05.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
