ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: “to issue a Writ or order preferably in the nature of Writ of Mandamus and declare the action of respondents in detaining the petitioner/s in BE 3rd year as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to prosecute their studies by permitting them to attend the classes of BE 4th year 1st Semester and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to appear for the internal examination and for the main examinations as well as the supplementary examinations for the backlog subjects.”
At the hearing, Sri A.Dattanand, learned counsel for the petitioners, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.38806 of 2014 filed by the petitioners for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
