P.N.Mohammed Ashraf vs State Of Kerala

High Court Of Kerala|13 October, 2014
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners challenge Ext.P6 order of the 2nd respondent in a revision petition preferred by the petitioners whereby the levy of building tax was upheld by the 2nd respondent by relying on the report of the Tahsildar that showed that major repairs were effected to the building necessitating the levy of building tax. In the original petition, no material is produced to substantiate the contentions of the petitioners that the report of the Tahsildar did not indicate that there was any major repair to the original construction. In that view of the matter, I do not see any reason to interfere with Ext.P6 order of the 2nd respondent that is impugned in the writ petition. The writ petition fails, and it is accordingly dismissed. A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR JUDGE prp A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR, J.
