JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] The petitioner is before this Court, challenging the order of transfer. However, the Writ Court did not grant any interim order, when the writ petition was heard. The petitioner has now joined the transferred post and submitted a request, to permit him to go on voluntary retirement.
2.The said application is now under consideration before the learned Principal District Judge, Ramanathapuram, who is not a party in this writ petition. Therefore, the petitioner is permitted to pursue his application for vountary retirement before the competent authority, who shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law as expeditious as possible.
3.The writ petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
