JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents and by consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider his representation dated 27.07.2017 and on that basis to issue patta for the agricultural land measuring an extent of 3 acres comprised in Survey No. 49/1 situated at Elavady Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2017, the 4th respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 4th respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks' time.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties, With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
