JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders on his representation made on 09.05.2016 with a request to hand over the balance land of 849 sq. feet which was left out at the time of handing over plot bearing Plot No.PK-15, Industrial Estate, Guindy, Chennai 600 032 from the allotment order dated 18.08.1995.

According to the petitioner, he was allotted a land in Industrial Plot vide Plot PK-15, Industrial Estate, Guindy, Chennai by letter of allotment dated 18.08.1995 on the file of the 1st respondent for sale consideration of Rs.2,41,810/- and the entire cost was paid as per the terms and conditions stipulated in the allotment order for the said plot. Since the said land was not handed over to the petitioner, he was constrained to file two Writ Petitions against the respondents in W.P.Nos.8055 and 8056 of 2007. Both the Writ Petitions were allowed by this Court by a common order dated 12.08.2010 with a direction to the respondents therein to obtain appropriate orders from the Government/Competent Authority and hand over the said Plot to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Pursuant to the said order of this Court, since the respondents did not pass any order to hand over the said Plot to the petitioner, a representation dated 09.05.2016 was made by the petitioner through Registered Post, seeking to handover the remaining extent of 849 sq. ft. of land from the total extent of 5,350 sq. ft. in Plot No.PK-15, Industrial Estate, Guindy, Chennai, to him. As the said representation is pending without disposal, having no other alternative, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents herein to to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
