The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers. “i) Direct the 5th respondent to forthwith consider exhibit P6 and disburse the compensation awarded as per exhibit P4 to the petitioner forthwith or within such time as this Honourable Court may be pleased to direct.
ii) Pass such other writ, order or direction in the interest of justice as this Hon'ble Court may deem just and fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. When the matter came up for consideration before this Court on 22.09.2014, the following interim order was passed:-
“Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the National Highways Authority of India as well as the learned Government Pleader, I find no justification for the non payment of the amount directed to be paid to the petitioner as per Ext.P4 award. The respondents are therefore, directed to ensure that the amount covered by Ext.P4 award is paid to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four weeks from today.”

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the National Highway Authority of India submits, that the amount due to the petitioner pursuant to the award passed by the concerned Authority has already been deposited on the 18th of this month, to have had the disbursement effected on 21.10.214.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the amount has not come to the hands of the petitioner.
5. In the aforesaid circumstances, it is open for the petitioner to approach the 6th respondent, for disbursement of the due amount. The due amount shall be disbursed to the petitioner forthwith, at any rate, within 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, along with a copy of the writ petition.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
