P.K.Thomas vs State Of Kerala

High Court Of Kerala|27 October, 2014
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging Ext.P4 order passed by the 2nd respondent under Section 235 W of the Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act' for short). I notice that the remedy of the petitioner against Ext.P4 is by way of an appeal to the Tribunal for Local Self Government Institutions, Thiruvananthapuram under Section 276(4) of the Act. When this is pointed out, it is submitted by the petitioner that he has already preferred such an appeal but that, no interim order has been granted. It is for the petitioner to seek appropriate interim orders in the appeal that has been already filed before the Tribunal.
For the above reasons, I do not find any grounds to entertain this writ petition or to grant any of the relief sought for. This writ petition is therefore, dismissed.
