The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage No.KL-13-N-7. He was given temporary permit in the vacancy of stage carriage No.KL-08-AD- 2111. The above temporary permit is valid upto 20/05/2014.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the route bus is yet to resume service and that the petitioner was issued with Ext.P1 temporary permit based on Ext.P2 judgment of this Court. It is also submitted that without intervention of this Court, his request for temporary permit from 21/05/2014 for a period of four months will not be considered. He has submitted Ext.P3 application in respect of the temporary permit.

If vacancy of stage carriage bearing registration No.KL-08-AD- 2111 is still in existence and no other person has applied for a temporary permit to operate a stage carriage in that vacancy, there will be a direction to the first respondent to issue a temporary permit of four months duration within one week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P3. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim of other persons.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
