JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up before this Court alleging that his claim for disbursement of D.A. arrears amounting to Rs.23,890/- and gratuity arrears due to revision of D.A. amounting to Rs.14,404/- has not been paid to the petitioner in spite of the direction in the judgment of this Court in O.P.No.28725/2002 to release the claims of the petitioner from the date of receipt of the copy of the judgment in that case.
2. In the statement filed by the respondent Corporation, it was averred that in its anxiety to pay the terminal benefits of the employees, the Corporation had obtained sanction to sell some of its properties at Ernakulam, Calicut and Amaravila and steps were being taken for the same.
3. It was further averred that the sale would be completed within six months from the date of that WPC No.22731 of 2003 2 judgment and thereafter, the funds would be available for the disbursal of the terminal benefits paid by the petitioner. Therefore, it was requested that the arrears claimed by the petitioner be allowed to be paid after receiving the sale proceeds of the properties mentioned above.
In the light of the aforesaid submission of the respondent, this writ petition is closed.
