JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3, apart from perusing the record. 2. The issue in this writ petition is with regard to the absence of a teacher in English subject in Gokhale Government Higher Secondary School, Kumaranellur, Palakkad, the Headmaster of which school is arrayed as the 4th respondent. A perusal of the record reveals that the Government has already taken steps and in fact, appointed a teacher in the subject of English, as is evident from Exts.P16 and P17.
3. In the light of the above development, both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents respectively have agreed that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
In the above circumstances, the writ petition is closed as having not survived for consideration. No order as to costs.
