(Per : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR.BHASKAR BHATTACHARYA) Pursuant to our earlier direction, the respondent No.3 has filed affidavit.
After hearing the petitioner-in-person and the learned counsel appearing for the parties, we are of the view that for effective adjudication of these writ-applications, presence of the Government of India through the Ministry of Health is necessary.
We, accordingly, direct the petitioners to add the Union of India through Ministry of Health as party-respondent in these proceedings.
Notice to the newly added party-respondent, returnable on 13th September 2012.
Mr. P.S. Champaneri, the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India appears and accepts the notice for the newly added respondent, and, therefore, formal service of notice is dispensed with. The petitioners are directed to serve a copy of the applications to Mr. P.S. Champaneri.
