Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the learned Court below to expedite the proceeding of Special Case No. 56 of 2017 (State of U.P. Vs. Shahjad and others) giving rise to Case Crime No. 689 of 2016, under Sections 363, 366, 376, 120-B IPC and section 3(2)V SC/ST Act and section 4 of POCSO Act, P.S. Sikandrabad, District Bulandshahr pending the court of Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Court NO. 10, Bulandshahr within a stipulated period of one month.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the aforementioned case is pending since the year 2017. The only prayer made by the applicant is to give direction to the court below to gear up the trial.
Keeping in view that the matter relates to the year 2017, I hereby direct the learned Additional District Judge/POCSO Act to gear up the matter and make necessary endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a reasonable period without giving unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
With the aforesaid directions, this 482 Cr.P.C. application is finally disposed of.
