Before approaching this Court, the petitioner submitted a representation to the District Magistrate, Agra ventilating his grievances. The District Magistrate, Agra made a note on the representation aforesaid directing the Sub Divisional Officer, Agra for demarcation of land and to submit a report in that regard. It is submitted that despite the directions given, no steps have yet been taken by the Sub Divisional Officer, Agra.
Having considered all the facts of this case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the District Magistrate, Agra to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner, copy whereof is available on record as Annexure No.4 dated 5.10.2018. The District Magistrate, Agra shall decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously as far as possible within a period of six weeks from the date the petitioner presents the certified copy of this order along with a copy of the instant petition for writ.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
