Petitioners were employed with U.P. State Road Transport Corporation and have retired on different dates. Their grievance is that difference of salary consequent upon introduction of Sixth Pay Commission w.e.f. 1.1.2006 onwards alongwith interest has not been paid. It is also stated that benefit of ACP scheme due and payable to petitioners has not been extended. Since various representations made in that regard have not been considered, therefore, petitioner is before this Court.
Sri V. K. Gupta, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.2 and 3 submits that petitioners' grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to accord consideration to petitioners' claim, noticed above, and appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. Any amount, if it is found due and payable to petitioners, shall be released without any further loss of time.
