Sri Apoorva Hajela, learned counsel for the respondents points out that the instant writ petition suffers from laches since the results were declared as far back as in 2015. Evidently there is no explanation proffered for the inordinate delay in filing the writ petition.
Consequently the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of laches.
