Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Diwakar Singh for the Gaon Sabha as also learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1 to decide the Case No201902030402546, Phool Chandra Vs. Daya Shankar & others, pending in the court of Up Ziladhikari, Handia, Prayagraj expeditiously within the stipulated time as directed by this Hon'ble Court."
The grievance of the petitioner is that the mutation case instituted in the year 2017 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1, Up Ziladhikari, Handia, Prayagraj to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
