1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner claims to have filed an application for grant of fire arm license before the District Magistrate- Banda which is stated to be pending since 30.04.2017. In the meanwhile it is submitted that the petitioner has suffered some criminal assaults over a long period of 33 years.
3. Without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Banda to decide the petitioner's application, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months' from the date of production of a certified copy of this order by a reasoned and speaking order after affording due opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties.
