This writ petition is filed challenging Ext.P4 order passed by the District Collector under the Kerala Irrigation Works (Execution by Joint Labour) Act, 1967. The petitioner and the party respondent are party to the above proceedings before the District Collector. They have now come to the settlement on a reference made by this Court before the Kerala Mediation Centre. The report of the Mediator and the agreement between the petitioner and the party respondent are on board. The agreement between the petitioner and the party respondent is recorded. The agreement will govern the parties to the agreement on issues, on which they have agreed in the agreement.
Accordingly, Ext.P4 is set aside. The parties are bound to act upon their agreement as entered before the Mediation Centre. The agreement will form part of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
