JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.105 of 2014 and to file final report, within a stipulated time frame.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was registered in the year 2014 and the petitioner approached the respondent many times to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.
4. Since the First Information Report has been registered in the year 2014 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.105 of 2014 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
