2. Today, both the parties along with their respective counsel on record are present. They have stated that the dispute has been amicably settled between them, out of Court and they have filed a memo dated 30.01.2017 to that effect. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, the second respondent/ defacto complainant, about the factum of compromise, they have admitted the same. The second respondent has also expressed no objection in quashing the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioners.
3. In view of the above, the Criminal original Petition is allowed and the criminal proceedings in CC No.6109 of 2013 on the file of the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is quashed as against the petitioners herein. The memo dated 30.01.2017 filed by the parties is taken on record. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
