In a suit filed under section 229B of the U.P. Z.A. and L.R. Act, the matter travelled to the Board of Revenue in a second appeal. At the second appellate stage an application for impleadment was filed by the petitioner claiming on the basis of an unregistered adoption deed, whereby he is said to be an adopted son of Mewaram.
Initially, the impleadment application was allowed, but subsequently it was set aside on the ground that the person seeking impleadment was relying on an unregistered adoption deed, when such an adoption deed necessarily requires registration. On the strength of these findings, the earlier order permitting impleadment of the petitioner was recalled. Aggrieved, this writ petition has been filed.
