The issue is relating to the continuation of 4th respondent in W.P.(C) No.28375 of 2014 as the Executive Vice-President of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment. This Court in W.P.(C) 24889 of 2014 directed the Chief Secretary to take up the representation submitted by the petitioner therein against the continuation of 4th respondent in W.P.(C) 24889 of 2014 in the office of Executive Vice-President of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment.
2. Aggrieved by it, the 4th respondent has filed R.P.No.861 of 2014. In R.P.861 of 2014 the petitioner submits that he was not heard before the matter was disposed by this Court. W.P.(C) No.28375 of 2014 is filed against the continuation of the 4th respondent in office after the expiry of the term by granting extension.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner in W.P.(C) No.28375 of 2014 that the Government has taken a decision not to extent the term of the 4th respondent. In view of the above fact, these matters are closed. No further orders are required in this matter. The direction in the writ petition in W.P.(C) No.24889 of 2014 has thus become redundant.
