Order:
This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that following an inspection of the petitioner’s fair price shop bearing No.34, Yerraobanapalli Village, Darsi Mandal, Prakasam District, and initiation of proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955, against the petitioner, respondent No.2 has not been allotting the stocks of essential commodities to the said fair price shop for distribution to the card holders.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (AP), on instructions from the respondents, submitted that due to lack of proper knowledge, respondent No.2 has withheld the stocks of essential commodities for the month of September, 2014, and allotted the same to another dealer, who was kept incharge of the petitioner’s fair price shop referred to above, and that from the month of October, 2014, the stocks will be allotted to the petitioner subject to the latter producing the Demand Draft for the value of the stocks within the prescribed time.
The undertaking given by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies on behalf of respondent No.2 is placed on record and the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to do the needful in terms of the said undertaking.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.41864 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
