JUDGMENT / ORDER

Though the prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the provisional pension from the month of May 2016 to till date and for subsequent months in terms of Rule 69 of the Tamil Nadu pension Rules 1978, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 31.10.2016 and 20.12.2016 respectively, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 31.10.2016 and 20.12.2016 respectively, seeking disbursement of provisional pension and retirement benefits and to pass orders, within a time frame.
2.In view of the limited relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 31.10.2016 and 20.12.2016 respectively, seeking disbursement of provisional pension and retirement benefits taking note of Rule 69 of the Tamil Nadu pension Rules 1978 and to pass orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
