The only prayer made in the writ petition to the following effect:-
"(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent no.1 to get conducted the investigation of case arising out of F.I.R. dated 23.9.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 613 of 2018, under Sections 147, 302, 504, 506 I.P.C., Police Station G.R.P. Kanpur and District Kanpur by any other independent investigating agency except Uttar Pradesh Police.
(b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent's authority to ensure the speedy and fare investigation of F.I.R. dated 23.9.2018, registered as Case Crime No. 613 of 2018, under Sections 147, 302, 504, 50 I.P.C., Police Station G.R.P. Kanpur and District Kanpur."
Looking to the averments made in the writ petition, learned A.G.A. was given time to seek his instructions by order of 11.2.2019. Today, when the case was taken up the Court has been informed that the police after investigation has submitted a final report. Looking to the facts as has been brought to the knowledge of this Court, the writ petition has become infructuous and accordingly the same is being dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to seek such legal remedy as has been available to him under the provisions of Cr.P.C.
The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
